Did you know that Lola’s Learningland offers a Reading Guarantee for all children? If you purchase an annual (12-month) subscription and practice for at least 30 minutes each week, the Reading Guarantee ensures measurable progress. Here’s how we track reading development and how the guarantee works.
Our reading development model, designed with reading pioneer Professor Marita Mäkinen (prof. emerita), includes ten stages. Currently, Levels 1-7 are in use, covering skills from basic sounds to reading complex words.
Lola’s Reading Guarantee ensures that a child’s reading improves by at least three levels within one year. Before purchasing, you can assess your child’s reading level on our Lola Panda website. The app also determines your child’s starting level during the initial sessions to tailor the content appropriately.
The progress tracker in the app—and in monthly emails to registered users—shows skill level, time spent learning, and current reading progress.
For children actively using the app, development can be quick as the app adapts to the right challenge level. Motivating feedback and in-the-moment hints keep learning engaging, making it easy to reach 30 minutes of practice per week.
After one year, if your child has not advanced three reading levels, you are entitled to an additional year of access at no cost. Children with reading challenges, such as dyslexia, are also covered under this guarantee.
To claim the free year, contact us at support@lolapanda.com, and we’ll send a short questionnaire. Ensure that the app has been used for a year and at least 30 minutes weekly.
